What comes to mind when you think of worship? You probably think of something to do with music. But many things can be worship.
We should do everything for the glory of God. Maybe that looks like loving the people we come into contact with and treating them like Jesus would treat them. Even your hobbies can be worship. For me, writing poetry is one way I worship God. I can reflect on His goodness and majesty while writing out my poetry.
For you, it might be hiking. Maybe you feel close to God when you see His creation. You might be amazed at God’s goodness when you hear a bird sing. Or maybe you are an artist. Art is a great way to worship (and something I could write an entire blog post on).
No matter what your preferred hobby is, you can probably find a way to worship God through it. Maybe it is literally writing about God’s goodness, or maybe it is just something that makes you feel close to God. Maybe you feel that this is what God created you to do. Just reading this might have given you an idea of what it is for you.
Worship can look different, but at the heart of it all is glorifying God. We can worship God each day, in all that we do.
