It’s that time of year again. The time when people count blessings and eat good food. At least for my American friends, the Thanksgiving + Christmas season can be chaotic. But it also gives us the opportunity to count our blessings.
We have so many good things that God has given us. But sometimes we forget that in the chaos.
Finally brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable—if there is any moral excellence and if there is anything praiseworthy—dwell on these things. ~Philippians 4:8
That’s why I’m running a poetry contest to focus on being grateful for what Christ had done for us.
The rules:
- Your poem can be written in any style, as long as it honors God. Any experience is welcome.
- Limit one entry per person
- First, second and third place winners will be posted on the blog.
- Upload your poem as a PDF using >this form<
- The deadline to submit your poem is December 6th.
I can’t wait to read all of your poems! If you have any questions, please let me know!
