There’s a lot of brokenness in the world. You do not have to go far to see it. Personally, I have had some hard things happen (along with some good things). But there is still light. I wrote this poem while I was thinking about this topic.

Keep going

This is for those who are struggling

Trudging through so many trials

This is for those who are broken

Holding to hope for more

This is for those who are hurting

Waiting for their healing

This is for those who are grieving

Waiting for tears to be dried

This is for those who are tired

Needing refreshment of the soul

This is for those who feel forgotten

Walking as if they’re invisible

This is for those who are searching

Knowing that there is much more

This is for those who keep going

Running to win the race

This is for those who fight darkness

Focusing on the light dawning

This is for those who are chosen

Bought by the blood of Christ

This is for those who keep following

When the reward seems far away

This is for those who remember

That they are seen and loved

This is for those who read this

Keep going; it will be worth it

There is still light. We can keep going. We have an eternal hope, and that is worth living for. This is my encouragement for those of you have had hard things happen, or who have been struggling. Keep going, Jesus sees you. He loves you. Let Him be your strength.
